The San Francisco theme was a special one-week theme released on May 8, 2012. The theme celebrated the game's 4th Anniversary. This theme was inspired by the city of San Francisco in California, USA. The idea of this theme was to celebrate the place that made the game so big.
The theme consisted of clothing, furniture, hairs, 2 rideables and 3 houses. The furniture and clothing were of a contemporary fashion. Iconic places like the Golden Gate bridge could be seen.
One line of clothing revolved around the world-renowned LGBT pride parade San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Celebration, also known as the San Francisco Pride. This line of clothing was named 'Gay Pride Fashion' and included the 'San Francisco Anti-Hate Tattoo Black' item, which was a tattoo with the letters 'NO H8'. This tattoo was inspired by the NOH8 Campaign (NOH8 meaning "No Hate"). This way Zynga showed their support towards the campaign and LGBT movement.
